  • Time & Material
  • Dedicated Development Center
  • Milestone Based Billing
  • Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Model
  • Results Based Billing
  • Proof of Concept

To take the flexibility to the next level, we are open for customization of these models further based on mutual discussion.

1.  Fixed Price

Nichi-In proposes customers the Fixed Price model when the scope of work and specifications of the project are reasonably clear and well defined. We work with the customers in defining the expected deliverables and timelines based on which the time and cost estimate is done.

2. Time And Material

The Time and Material model is advantageous to the customers when the scope of work and specifications of the project are either not clearly defined or when there is a possibility of significant changes down the line. The customers get greater flexibility to alter the project specifications on an ongoing basis at their discretion. The customer shall pay an hourly/monthly rate which is agreed at the time of signing of the contract. The customer may even revise the team size, thereby optimizing the cost and duration of the project.

3. Dedicated Development Center

Dedicated Development Center operates as an extension of the customer’s development center. In this model, Nichi-In forms teams with required team members, project managers/leaders, infrastructure and any necessary equipment based on the requirement of the customer. This model is a win win model for both the customer and Nichi-In as the same team members working continuously for longer periods results in increased productivity over a period of time and the domain and technical know how is retained better. It gives stability and visibility to the team and the company in terms of work. This is the preferred model for any longer term contracts.

4. Milestone Based Billing

This model can be employed in case of longer term projects which are divided into various phases that are measurable and defined clearly. Payment schedules are usually defined on timeline (for example, monthly) or milestone basis. This model enables efficient progress monitoring and reduces large project risks for the customers.

5. Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Model

In the case of Build-Operate-Transfer Model, Nichi-In forms a dedicated facility (incubation center in other terms) for the customer which operates like an extension of the customer’s own facility during the initial stages. The dedicated facility leverages Nichi-In’s infrastructure and processes. Human resources for this dedicated facility can be the existing employees of Nichi-In or the customer or a mix of both or those hired freshly through joint recruitment effort. Nichi-In has a well defined mechanism for smooth transition of the facility to the customer after a mutually agreed period.

This model has the following advantages to the customers:

  • Lower Establishment Costs

  • Faster Time to Market

  • Flexibility

  • Reduced Risk

  • Leveraging of our proven process expertise

  • Option of owning the facility

6. Results Based Billing

This is a variation of Milestone Based Billing model, wherein the billing is partly or fully conditional and is carried out only when a certain predefined goals are achieved to a predefined extent.

7. Proof of Concept

This model can be adopted when the customer has a particular concept/requirement for which he would like to get a preview of how it may look like by building a quick proof of concept or prototype before deciding whether to go ahead with the complete implementation or not.
